What this site is for

Rainbows of Aging is a research program in the UNLV School of Public Health. This site describes our research, our team, and ways to take part in our studies. Filling out a form here is not enrollment in a study. Enrollment happens later, after we talk with you and you review and sign a consent document.

Not medical advice

Information on this site, including anything about dementia, Parkinson's disease, caregiving, or aging, is for education. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for talking with a licensed clinician. If you have a medical emergency, call 911. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.

Content and ownership

The text, photographs, logos, and study materials on this site belong to Rainbows of Aging, the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, or the people and organizations we credit. You may read, print, and share pages for personal, educational, or noncommercial use, as long as you credit Rainbows of Aging and do not change the material. Please write to rainbowsofaging@unlv.edu before republishing our photographs or using our name or logo in your own materials.

Using the site responsibly

Please do not attempt to break into any part of this site, interfere with its operation, scrape it in a way that degrades service for others, submit false information through our forms, or send other people's personal or health information to us without their permission.

Links to other organizations

We link to news coverage, publications, and support organizations because we think they are useful. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices. A link is not an endorsement of everything an organization says or does.

Accuracy and availability

We work to keep this site accurate and current, but research findings, study eligibility, and contact details change. We cannot promise the site will always be available or free of errors. We may update or remove content at any time.

No commerce on this site

This site does not sell anything and does not collect payments, donations, or card information. If you see a page asking you to pay us, it is not ours: please tell us at rainbowsofaging@unlv.edu.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, Rainbows of Aging and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site or from reliance on information published here.
